2. Cookies We Use
Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are required for Tunela to work. Without them, you cannot sign in. Under the GDPR and EU ePrivacy rules, strictly necessary cookies do not require consent.
- NextAuth session cookie — identifies your signed-in session so we can authenticate each request and keep you logged in across pages. Expires when your session ends or on sign-out.
- CSRF token cookie — used by NextAuth to protect forms (sign-in, sign-out, etc.) from cross-site request forgery.
Functional cookies
We currently do not use functional cookies beyond those needed for authentication. If we add functional cookies in the future (for example, remembering UI preferences), we will update this policy.
Analytics cookies
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use Tunela (pages visited, how you found us, aggregated demographics). This involves analytics cookies set by Google. We do not send your name, email, or account details to Google Analytics. You can opt out via your browser settings or Google’s opt-out tools.
For visitors in the EEA, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, analytics storage is disabled by default and Google Analytics operates without analytics cookies unless consent is given.
Advertising cookies
Advertising-measurement cookies (Google). If you are outside the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, we allow Google to set advertising-measurement cookies so we can tell which of our ads led to a sign-up. We do not use these cookies to personalise ads or build advertising audiences. If you are in the EEA, UK or Switzerland, these cookies are off unless you enable them. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a refusal everywhere.
3. Third-Party Cookies
When you proceed to checkout, our payment provider LemonSqueezy may set its own cookies inside the checkout page or iframe. Those cookies are controlled by LemonSqueezy and are used for fraud prevention and checkout functionality. See their cookie practices at lemonsqueezy.com/privacy.
If you sign in with Google, Google may set its own cookies during the OAuth flow. See Google’s cookie policy.
4. How to Manage Cookies
You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Blocking the strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in to Tunela.
